I hiked the Beamer last month and paid some attention to routes. Bob
is correct that you cannot walk along a beach from Tanner to
Palisades Creek....

I've done it without really feeling that it was a problem. You have a rock
face on one side and a drop-off on the other, but the trail seems plenty wide
and...
