Definitely stay at the Grand Canyon Lodge on the North Rim.
Kaibab Lodge just outside the park if it is still open.
Also, there may be something at Jacob...

As you may know, the Park Service strongly recommends that people do
their first Grand Canyon backpack on a corridor trail or on one of
the easier...
