I have seen the Little Colorado flash when cloud cover is rather light at least a half dozen times. It has to do more with water table saturation many times...

Bright Angel Trail
We will be hiking out on the Bright Angel trail on Sept. 11th, has anybody heard any rumors that the trail might be open by then? Thanks group!

There was evidence that a flash flood inundated the 'campground' in the mid 1980s. I'm not sure the exact month or year. Something like 1985.... J. D.
