Dove Menkes has mentioned a trail from the west Tonto Platform into
Asbestos Canyon and a cairn marking this. Can he (or anyone) be a
little more exact...

Dams that were never built
Orman: I saw much of the stuff; ladders, catwalk, etc years ago on a
hike in the LC. There are remains of gaging station. I think there
are pics by Butchart...
