We finished the last segment we had not done last April. We are 69 and 72.
We found all fairly easy. The segment from S. Bass to Hermit being the
hardest....

I second Bob A.'s advice. An alternative hike that avoids the rim
access problems would be something like the following:
Day 1: Down South Kaibab to Tonto...

top of the saddle. I've hiked up there in early March and encountered
a couple of foot...
