Trailhead thievery
Just returned from a 4 day/3 night Hermit/Boucher loop hike. Weather
was perfect & we had a great time. Some day I hope to get around to
providing a report...

Bill,
Negotiating all of the drainages is a bit tedious but not technically
challenging. My problem was attempting to do a dayhike from Tanner to LCR...

My guess would be that you could probably get something though Tanner itself may
be full. As for snow... it is tough to call, especially early in the season....

Bill -- Just guessing but I think you should have no problem getting a
permit. No snow at all yet. The way the Tanner is situated the snow should
melt...
