gear for Feb trip
I'm almost set for my February trip.
I don't have instep crampons yet (can't get ones that are a good fit), but I've got Yaktrax and if I
can't get crampons...

If one has the time it is worth the walk to Bedrock. The canyon there
is beautiful and a hike up it under the Powell Plateau is not to be
forgotten....

I presume you are talking about the second falls and not the one that
is in sight of the river. You can bypass this second falls. I think
we went around it...

If you travel from Tapeats to Stone you >>will<< arrive above the
falls. The route upriver is not real easy to find. Continue under
the cliff...
