According to the Arizona Daily Star (Tucson) Roma Butchart, wife of
Harvey Butchart, died on April 3rd. She was 96 and married to Harvey
for 72 years. ...

The canyon hike has about the same distance and vertical (almost 5000
feet) as the Half Dome hike, and probably the same duration. So you
have better...
