The preferred method for crossing the river is to ask for a ride from
one of the river outfits. They are generally very helpful and on the
watch for hikers...

I've had lots of xcanyon trips....buy cheap plastic boat(pool toy really)for
under $20 at drugstore..do not use air mattress...yes,you can get...

Off topic, GPS
Leaving for Kaua'i in the a.m. Does anyone know of any
restrictions on taking a GPS in my carry-on. See you in a week.
