I would go down the SK to Tonto route. It may be a bit longer and
the SK may be a bit steeper than BA, but along the Tonto you will
definately...

I'd vote for Kaibab to Tonto to Indian Gardens. The stretch by Pipe Creek is really scenic.
Years ago we found a ruin in Pipe Creek that Harvey Butchart...

Debbie I'd just stay on the BA the whole way. It is user friendly on the knees and interesting the whole way.
