Wow, someone needs to go hiking someplace besides the GC. There must
be more to canyon...

Refer to the Jumpup Point Topo map. I think the loop you're
intending to do is down the Sowats Point Trail (which, by the way,
isn't on Sowats...

I understand and that the rocks at Copper Canyon consist of volcanic ash
(rhyolite?) with little changes if any in the stratigraphy makes for a
boring...

UPHILL from the North Kaibab Clear Creek turn off almost all the way to
Clear...

I can not address the water situation at Clear Creek but the one word of
advice that I can give is start very early when hiking to CC. The hike
goes...
