Clair and Liz Roberts will be leaving Tuweep by the end of July. NPS
has not yet said who will be coming in to replace Clair. Possible

I don't think you need a permit to go to Sowats or even to hike in
the Canyon above the Jumpup-Kanab confuence. That is National Forest
and the Snake Gulch...

Dove,
Much of this area is administered by the Kaibab National Forest. The
Park boundary runs down Indian Hollow and Jumpup Canyons to Kanab
Canyon. If...

How about peremit? Can get at BLM in St. George? Advisable to get well in advance, or generally no problem if request week, or day before?

The choice of footwear comes down to trail, load, physical condition,
balance, etc. Given optimum conditions, you could almost do the corridor
trails...
