Not to sweat the fire fellows--I think they had a zip stove. That
was fun reading. The first half a dozen times I hiked the canyon I
sat at the bottom...

I'm glad you enjoyed the Canyon. It is a special place. But your hiking
mates couldn't have been that experienced if they built fires and let you
wash off...

It would really help if your group would read the permit next time
you hike in the Grand Canyon. I think if you check you will find
campfires are not...
