I was driving at sunrise this AM on Rt. 64 east toward Cameron. The
sun was a red, almost scarlet, ball. Much smoke to the east of the
Canyon, literally...

Does anybody on this group speak Paiute? "Arizona Place
Names" gives a translation for Uinkaret (region of pines) but
doesn't provide a pronunciation. ...
