So maybe to make the canyon safer we should have helicopters make
daily patrols within the canyon itself? Perhaps the canyon itself is
simply too dangerous...

It is pretty macho to talk about "rescue" with "the I won't need it
attitude!" In my years in rescue, with over 40 fatalities and several hundred
