Marty I would do the Ribbon Falls. It is a fairly long dayhike for some
people but even if you don't make it all the way it will have been a trip

A third option is to explore up into Phantom Canyon. This
requires crossing Bright Angel Creek, roughly a mile up the
North Kaibab trail from Phantom Ranch...
