Last I heard was that Boundary Road had been closed and both ends of it blocked
off to prevent people from trying to use it.

I think that the boundary road is now off limits to vehicles. Sometime in
the last couple years many of the dirt roads in the Park were closed to
vehicles,...

Boundary road is very rough and slow. No local will want to drive it
just to avoid Indian fees.
NPS is recommending the best road surface and the fastest...
