I don't think so Doug. The whole North Rim trail was probably called
the Bright Angel initially and that naming probably predates both the
South and North...

GC trip
I just came back from the GC trip. trek down the South Kaibab trail
till cedar ridges. It was great to be trekking down the trail and

leave daily at 8, 9 & 10 AM.

you said it goes down Bright Angel Canyon past the source for Bright
Angel Creek...
