Just to be educational, though it may seem overly picky, this is
Tapeats sandstone (light tan). There is no Dox (deep red) exposed
upriver from Palisades....

The picture of the trail on the slope is about as exposed as it gets,
and its a fairly short stretch. The other picture looks scary but is
taken (I think)...
