One of the 'benefits' of flush flows I guess. Tuckup was a pretty
nice place at low flows for rafters until most of the sand was
stripped leaving the cobble...

The mine at Palisades was Seth Tanner's - I don't remember what he
mined. It's not too exciting, bad smells coming out of the mouth, so I
wouldn't recommend...
