I have walked that road and can vouch for the signs being there. Sorry but what Arnberger might have said in the past will not cut it if you go past...

Several years ago, I wrote past Superintendent Arnberger about the
road to the Boucher Trailhead and he told me that vehicles were
allowed on the boundary...
