Which map you are referring to when you say the Cave of the Domes is
marked on it. At least one topo map I have seen has the cave marked
in the wrong...

The best trail for a group of novice hikers is right where the train
drops you on the rim - the Bright Angel Trail. By the way, dogs are
not allowed...
