I personally would NOT encourage you unless you did the following:
Active training, up and down, substantial mileage before you get here.
Leave the N. Rim...

I have done about 8 r2r2r total --- 5 running. Walking can be done in under 24 hours with the correct training. My suggestion would be to do more training...
