You can hike up Tapeats Creek except during times of high water.
After about a mile or so, the bed becomes dry for a ways then you run
into more running...

It does look like there is a good break in the east rim of Clay Tank
(Lost Creek) connecting from the next (un-named) drainage, but it's
hard to tell about...
