Yes, that is definitely a good method as well. I never use soap for my dishes since most backpacking food doesn't have any fat in it anyway. One good option...

I know what you mean Bob. The windiest I've ever seen it was at Clear Creek too. Sorta modified the curvature of the main pole, but I was able to bend it back...
