Aug. 31, a friend and myself started a S. rim to N. rim hike with a
sleep over at Bright Angel camp. I had to stop 5 times for mules and
a couple of times...

Don't bother reading Kelsey's books. Most of it is based on second-hand information.
I think his guide books are among the worst I have ever seen.
