After 35 years in SAR, nothing will surprise me. I have seen and entire
"survival" class in trouble in a snow storm. An entire track team (college level)...

NPS paper they give at the gate lists possible dayhikes and I think
Grandview Pt to Horseshoe Mesa is one of them. Pretty much full day
RT and very much off...
