You should be able to go up and down 75 mile at almost any time
except during a flash flood. It is usually pretty dry but if there
are winter storms I guess...

Usually the river is the only water source on Escalante Route.

We're on board for a mid-March Escalante route trip. Last year in
Grapevine we wandered up the east arm and found some nice campsites
not far from the base...
