North Rim / Highway 67 Winter Closure
Talked with NPS folks on North Rim and it looks like motor vehicle
access via Highway 67 will close for the season on Nov 28.

Yeah, I plan to try going that way some time to see what it's like and
to camp along Unkar Rapid, but this option could add confusion to
someone doing this...

That's if you even go up there. I've done this route many times and
I've never been that high on the Dox. It can be done very close to
the river with minor...
