Skeet shooting rules require lead shot. Lead shot is not illegal.
Some hunters have lead shot in the chamber and a pocket full of steel shot.

"The Climb" by Anatoli Boukreev is not (IMHO) as well-written
as "Into Thin Air", but gives an interesting account from a different
perspective of the same...

I found "Ice Bound..." by Gerri Nielsen to be quite the survival
story in a harsh environment. It did, however, get a bit soapy in
places...
