North Rim Road Closure
Just in case anyone missed it --- Hwy 67 from Jacob Lake to the N.
Rim in closed till May 14.

My wife and I were in the canyon October 28, 29, 30 and on the days before
the 28th the canyon was full of smoke from the fire on the North Rim. A
ranger...

Sounds like you are in a similar situation to me. They ran out of
the permit forms to print on and I was told it would be a few weeks
before I would see...

I faxed my permit request on 12/1/03 at 1:30 AM (AZ time) for a mid-
April permit. They charged my credit card on 12/7/03.
