I have used Travelex, they cover all manner of
wilderness trips, just tell them what you are
planning, they do U.S. and foreign travel and cover
self guided...

No help on the hiking insurance. I was surprised to learn the Colorado
insurance only covers Colorado SAR. Parts of your rescue like an air
ambulance might...
