Zion Suggestion
Zion is great in April and early May. Not many loop options, though. You
could make a nice 3-4 day trip in the Kolob Arch Area. Lots of spectacular side...

Ken gave you the taxi option. You can also drive your vehicle out to
Hermit, then get the shuttle back at the end of the trip. More
hassle, but...
