I'm with Ken. I use Velvia on all my trips, shooting a fixed-lens 40/2.8 Leica. Yeah, its slow which means I miss some shots but the over all...

I think Ken is correct. If I was shooting film I would use something
at 125 ASA and probably 64 ASA for slides. Haven't used his choice
but at 50 ASA it is...

My preference in or around the Grand Canyon is Fuji Velvia ASA50. Sure
it's slide film, slow and harder to work with - but ohhhh....the detail
