I have never had giardiasis but have treated many very sick folks who
have drank from pristine mountain streams.I definitely would filter rather
than ruin...

Like Bob, I've had giardia twice - once from (alas) improperly
treated water, and once from water I drank involuntarily while trying
to drown in the Salt...

Use area code 928 instead of 520. This is your problem, the area code changed a few years back, but was never updated on most sites.

Though your body may adapt well to water in the Canyon, it might not be a good idea to advocate that others drink untreated water. I would hate to...
