Explanation on rope use
I have a couple of rope questions...
1. What kind of rope is best for lowering packs? I have always used
parachute cord, but it seems to stretch and snag,...

Kust curious where on the north rim are you headed?
Higher elevations of North Kaibab have upwards of 3+ feet of snow
currently.
