Training in Las Vegas
We're planning to do the final training hikes in Las Vegas a week
earlier.
Is there a good place or location that has the same challenges as BA
or SK...

How long from GC to Zion by car?
Has anyone here driven from GC to Zion? I would like to know how long
it took you to drive. I'm planning to see Bryce and Zion if time

We've just got back from training hike for 2 hours with 25-28 pounds
backpacks. I think about 3-4 miles. The terrain is 90% flat. Feeling
OK and no hurting....

Down on SK and back up on BA trails
From reading various sites I see SK is about 6 miles and BA is 9
miles between rim and BA campsite. I'm planning on taking this loop
with my boy late March....

Sleeping bag or blanket
What's your preference for late March overnight at BA campsite? Me
and my 13yo boy. I'm thinking of 1 of each. Sleeping bag is much
bulkier than blanket and...
