I also believe this is all rather recent water because flow varies
with the season and annual snowfall. Probably goes down through
Kaibab cracks and...

I believe most of the water for Vasey's,Deer Creek and Thunder R. comes from the same bottom of the redwall aquifer draining the kaibab plateau.
