I'm unsure of Horn, but just last week hiked G-vine & Lonetree (as well as Cottonwood, Boulder & Cremation) all in the drainage.

I agree with Doug, Grapevine drainage is worth hiking down even if you don't make it all the way to the river. Very scenic!
