Thanks Bob. The soda bottles make a lot of sense. More redundant than one water sack, and no sharp edges like Nalgenes or Platy's.

I would have reservations about carrying 2 gallons of water in a

I am very partial to things like Nalgene that are bullet proof. I am partial too to a number of containers rather than a few big ones as the larger number...
