A space blanket can work as a lightweight "bag" or backup to some other
alternative.

REI has a great fairly lightweight bag to put the packs in...that is what we
do for the airlines...

I have a r2r in two weeks I know at the bottom of the canyon I do not
need a sleeping bag at night. What about the other 2 camp sites? Any
ideas light...
