yep.... my first (and only untill Sept) visit to the Grand Canyon saw
us on mules on the North Kaibab down to Roaring Springs. They are
trained to walk on...

One other thing, I was looking at that Desert USA web site... Most of
the trail descriptions are reasonable close, as you mentioned, the North
Kaibab time...
