Trails To Colorado River From Great Thumb Mesa on South Rim
I happened to notice that there are trails called the Great Thumb Route
and Tahuta Point. Is it possible to backpack down from these to the
Colorado River? ...

From the Geographic Topo Map it is 20 miles from the
top of Horseshoe Mesa to the Tipoff. 18 miles to
Cremation Creek from Horseshoe Mesa. On paper...
