My mother and I guess it was either a "What I Did On My Summer
Vacation" report (The orginal is typed up. So, she had to have been

hiking in the canyon this fall/winter
What months are the coolest below the rim? I want to do some hiking
there this winter and am free anytime between october and april.

Interesting! On the date of your trip report I was 12 days away from
turning 10 myself...and my family had just moved away from Grand
Canyon Village in July...
