--- Get a pair. I first used a pair 6 years ago on my first visit to
the GC. They made the trips down and up much more comfortable. I
don't even train now...

I prefer one pole, telescoping, shock absorbing type, carbide tip, wrist
strap on loosely.
I am legally blind in one eye so my depth perception is not what...
