You can't put enough salt in a sweet flavored drink to make any real
difference regarding electrolyte balance and have anyone be able to
choke it down....it...

Same here. I understand that if you exercise regularly or work in hot
conditions you can sweat more and conserve electrolytes. Like any
physical adaptation...
