Yes, I recall Monument and Hermit Creek having ammo boxes like those
at Indian Gardens. Can't recall about Salt...

We were just up in the Adirondacks and they make you use a bear
(2+LBS empty) canister for your food on some trails. Do the camps
sites in this area...
