I agree 100% with Karen...going down is when all the injuries occur;only exercise I've found (besides frequent GC trips)that helps me is walking in sandy dry...

Food needs
I can get by with one pound of food per day if it is all very dry. I pack one and a half pounds for my husband again--very dry. This means we hike out...
