We hiked down the Hermit in August. Camped at Hermit and then 2nd night at
Monument, and 3rd night at Indian Gardens. They were both great spots...Hermit...

The walk down Hermit was wonderful, very interesting pink zoraster
[sp?] granite interwoven in the schist. The rapids are worth a look as
