I agree with John on the campsites - both Hermit and Monument are nice
in their own way. I posted a couple of picture of Monument if you

Hermit Rapids. But I'd add a few things ...

Many folks doing hiking in this area of the GC go to the river at
both places and both river camps are excellent for backpackers with
all the water one...

recommend hermit. much nicer campsite i thought and
the water is a lot closer. we didn't hike to...
